Our Indian Adventure...

A couple years ago my parents started the tradition of having an annual adventure with the grandkids. It's been tons of fun. They talk about it and hype it up all year. This was the year of the indians.

Here's the whole clan all decked out.

Every family had an assignment this year. Mine was to bring materials for the kids to each make a headdress.

My mom made each family an awesome TeePee, my sisters brought stuff to make jewelry, and leather pouches, and Danny brought them eacn a loin cloth.Here's Kung Fu Black Bulldog with his newly fashioned bow and arrow.Flying Fish, and Blue Stallion have something in their sights.

We always go to this cute little ice cream parlor for a treat in our costumes. Here are Flying Fish and Dancing Bird and Rose, enjoying their sundaes
We finished off the evening with a weenie roast around the camp fire.
