Christmas '08...

Another Christmas has flown by. The holidays always seem to go so fast. It seems like we just barely finish carving pumpkins, and it's already Valentine's. 2008 was another memorable Christmas for us. We spent Christmas Eve at Chad's parent's house like we always do. We had a really fun time. Then we headed straight up to our cabin and spent the night. It was our first Christmas morning at the cabin, so I wasn't sure how it would go. It was awesome. It just seemed so festive and charming. It snowed all day on Christmas. We had the fire going and just relaxed and played all day. Here are all the pictures and a little explanation.

Here are the boys with Santa at our primary Christmas activity.

Christmas Eve, grandma reading a cute little poem to the kids.
Grandma Connie made everyone aprons. It was definitely the year of the apron for us. Good thing we love them!

Kiersten and Kreg gave us a paintball gun.
Aunt Becca and the kids in their new Christmas jammies.
More of the kids in their new jammies.
The cabin on Christmas ever after Santa came and all the presents were laid out.
Our $17 Albertson's Christmas tree.
Experimenting with my camera.

Alec Christmas morning.
Luke in all his morning glory.
Abbs Christmas morning.
Reesie Christmas morning.
Luke with his favorite gift.

Alec got some new legos.
Reese got a camera.
Holy Cow! Abbie got a doll!

Chad got a couple of new saws.

In the afternoon we headed outside to enjoy the fresh snow.
Notice how deep it is on Abbie.
For dinner we had our traditional Raclette. It was so much fun.
And last of all, the cabin with a little falling snow on Christmas evening.

Your cabin looks beautiful. What a dreamy place to make memories!
We spent our Christmas 08 with your old buddies, Chris & Jaimee Hoke. They are too much fun. I'm serious. It's dangerous.
