Claire Bear is 2 already...

Claire turned two in March.  She is such a treasure.  We all just adore her and can't get enough of her cute, sweet little personality.

• She's hilarious.  She makes funny faces all the time, knowing that we'll laugh.  
• She's so smart.  She talks great.  She's inquisitive and can carry on an entire conversation.  In fact, she speaks every thought that comes into her little head.  
• She's loving and affectionate.  She adores her brothers and sisters, and always wants a hug and kiss.  She loves to smoosh my face and Chad's together with one arm around each of us in a big hug.  
• She loves our cat Lucy.  She follows the poor animal around the house constantly, trying to hold and love her.  
• She's spunky, and knows what she wants.  
• She loves little containers of anything, especially gum, mints, Tums, etc.  
• She is so easy to have around.  She can entertain herself around the house forever.
• She never sits in her high chair.  She either stands to eat, or tries to climb out and sit on a big chair.  
• Her birthday made such an impression on her that she is now convinced that every day is her birthday.
• She can sniff out gum from a mile away.  Whether it's in your mouth, purse, cupboard etc.  If it's in your mouth and she discovers it, she will purse her little fingers together and fish it right out of your mouth  
• She always wants me to make up random songs to sing to her at bedtime.  She'll say "elephant song", or "arm song" then I just sing "arm, arm, I love you, arm, arm, I love you.......".
• She can count to 11.

 This is Claire on her actual birthday.

 Claire has been in love with Mickey and Minnie Mouse since we went to Disney World in October.

She has beautiful green eyes, and she loves sunglasses.

She's Abbie's little sidekick.  Abbie thinks Claire is wonderful.

She's determined.

 She loves life!

 She has slept with a tent on her bed since she started climbing out at a year old.  She promptly figured out how to unzip it from the inside, so we have to tie it at the closure.  Look close and you can see the black tie, bottom left. 

 Once a face painter painted a flower on her arm.  She has been obsessed with the idea ever since and is constantly drawing on her arms and saying they are flowers.  She drew all over both arms with a black sharpie right before I took these pictures.

I'm always amazed at how you can have a new little person join the family, and be just as much a part of it as anyone else.  Claire is just one of us.  We love and adore her, and would not be complete without her little spirit in our home and in our lives.  She's such a blessing.
