Family reunion, July 2010

A whole lot of backtracking.  As events come and go in our family, I have great intentions of recording them.  But most often it's just wishful thinking, and never quite happens.  Yet still the goal is always in the back of my head.

Here are a few pictures of the family reunion we had here in Spokane in July 2010.  All 28 Holts came here and stayed with us for a week.  We spent most nights at our house, one night at our cabin.  It was so much fun.  I loved showing them all our life here.  We went to Porcupine Bay and did the boating thing two days.  We spent two days at the cabin.  One day we hung out around the house, and all the adults went to dinner.  And the other days people were coming and going, so we just did odds and ends stuff.

We had a ranger theme for the kids.  They all had cloaks.  My dad made them each a bow and arrows.  My mom made them all little leather pouches.  It was perfect at the cabin.  They ran around practicing all their ranger skills.  We had all sorts of challenges for them and cute ranger prizes when they completed their training.  It was really a great week.
