In September we had the brilliant idea to rent an RV and tour Yellowstone. The kids were thrilled. We started Thursday, and spent the whole weekend, returning Sunday afternoon. The RV was definitely the highlight of the trip, and Yellowstone was pretty cool too. We spotted dozens of animals including a couple bear, and some wolves. Claire wasn't sure what she thought about the whole thing. She had to spend most of the time in her car seat. But she was great.
We stayed one night in at a random rest stop. We didn't know how to work the heater, so we pretty much froze. The other two nights, we stayed at a KOA and had a campfire, mini golf, and a cute little store. It was really a fun weekend.
